Many countries and jurisdictions around the world apply some sort of tax on sales and purchases, including items listed on G2G. G2G may collect and remit tax on sales commission on behalf of sellers to comply with tax obligations. If you are eligible for tax exemption, you may submit your tax exemption certificates to G2G. Please consult with your tax advisor or contact the Department of Revenue for your state for further details as policies are different for each country and region.
You may still be required to file and pay for taxes directly to the state or your local tax authority even if G2G is not required to collect the tax on your transactions. For more information we recommend that you consult with your tax advisor.
