Seller Guidelines: Best Practices and Prohibited Actions

This guide outlines the expectations for sellers on the G2G platform. Following these guidelines will help ensure smooth transactions, maintain trust with buyers, and reduce the risk of account penalties or suspension.


✅ What Sellers Should Do

Delivery and Evidence

  • Deliver on time: Complete all deliveries within the timeframe selected by the buyer. Set delivery durations you can consistently fulfill.

  • Upload transaction evidence: Provide screenshots (before and after the transaction) or video proof showing that the quantity and item match the order. Upload all evidence to the order details page after delivery.

  • Maintain accurate inventory: Always ensure inventory is up to date and sufficient before creating listings.

Communication and Conduct

  • Use G2G chat only: Communicate with buyers exclusively through the G2G chat system. In-game communication is not permitted.

  • Be polite and professional: Use courteous language and avoid inappropriate content in all messages.

  • Report suspicious activity: If buyers attempt to initiate off-platform transactions, report them to G2G immediately.

Account Management and Compliance

  • Operate one account only: Maintain a single G2G account and do not make purchases from your own listings.

  • Comply with platform rules: Familiarize yourself with product-specific rules and transaction evidence requirements before listing or trading.

  • Follow refund policy: If a refund is needed due to seller fault, be prepared to cover associated processing fees.

  • Handle disputes responsibly: If a dispute arises due to seller error, the seller is responsible for related costs or losses.

  • Cooperate in disputes: Respond promptly and fully to G2G’s requests during dispute resolution.

Product and Listing Standards

  • Use secure systems for sensitive data: When suggesting alternatives, upload information using the designated secure system—never share passwords or activation codes via chat.

  • Write accurate descriptions: Product descriptions must be truthful, specific, and reflect the actual condition of the item. Do not disclose first-hand supplier details.

  • Sell only legal goods and services: Ensure all products and services are legally obtained and comply with local regulations.

  • Avoid legal exposure: Do not list products that could cause legal issues for yourself or buyers.

  • Respect IP rights: Do not use unauthorized images, names, or logos in your listings.

  • Follow warranty guidelines: Understand and comply with GamerProtect’s warranty terms to remain eligible for protection.

  • List each product only once: Avoid duplicate listings for the same item.

  • List under the correct category: If no suitable category exists, contact G2G before listing.

  • Transact on-platform only: Complete all orders within the G2G platform to benefit from GamerProtect coverage.

  • Stay visible: Keep your seller account online as much as possible to attract potential orders.


❌ What Sellers Must Not Do

Delivery and Order Handling

  • Miss delivery deadlines: Failure to deliver on time will result in full responsibility for order failure.

  • Request order cancellations: Sellers may not ask buyers to cancel orders. If a cancellation is due to seller fault, compensation may be required.

  • Start trades without verification: Do not begin any trade until the order is confirmed and marked as tradable.

Communication and Platform Integrity

  • Offer offsite deals: Any attempt to offer or accept off-platform or personal transactions is strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension.

  • Communicate in-game: All communication must stay within G2G chat. In-game messaging is not allowed.

  • Post offensive content: Harassment, threats, or inappropriate content are not tolerated under any circumstances.

  • Threaten G2G or users: Any form of threat toward G2G staff or customers will result in account termination.

Account Misuse

  • Create multiple accounts: Do not operate more than one G2G account.

  • Buy your own listings: This is considered fraudulent behavior and will result in account suspension.

Product Violations

  • Use buyer’s account (except for Manual Top-Up): Logging into a buyer’s account is strictly prohibited unless it's explicitly allowed for Manual Top-Up services.

  • Sell restricted accounts: Game accounts that can only be used in offline mode due to cheating or bans are not allowed.

  • Hide product defects: Do not conceal known issues. Product descriptions must be honest and complete.

  • List illegal items: Products or services that violate local laws (e.g., illegal drugs, firearms, adult content) are strictly prohibited.

  • Obtain items illegally: Do not sell items obtained through fraud, hacking, or other illegal methods.

  • Violate IP rights: Using unauthorized brand assets or infringing on copyright or trademark rights is not allowed.

Platform Abuse

  • Repeat violations: Repeated rule-breaking will result in permanent suspension.

  • Engage in malicious competition: Any attempt to sabotage or mislead competitors is prohibited.

  • Manipulate listings: Using misleading tags or irrelevant keywords to game the search system is not allowed.

  • Use external links: Store names and listing images must not contain web addresses or links outside the platform.

  • List under the wrong category: Misplaced listings may be removed and could result in account penalties.

  • Start selling without prep: Do not sell products unless you are fully informed of product rules and evidence requirements.

  • Fail to cooperate in disputes: Passive or incomplete responses to G2G in dispute processes may affect your seller privileges.
